Joint Admission Agreement Form

The Joint Admission Agreement provides a guideline by which students can ensure the successful transfer of credits earned at an Alamo Community College District institution to the University of Texas at San Antonio. Students admitted to both institutions are offered the opportunity to complete a baccalaureate degree contingent on meeting the following requirements:

  1. Sign up as a JAA student at one of the following ACCD institutions: Northeast Lakeview College, Northwest Vista College, Palo Alto College, San Antonio College, or St. Philip's College.
  2. An academic status of Good Standing at the last institution attended.
  3. Overall 2.00 cumulative transferable Grade Point Average inclusive of ALL previous institutions attended is required for regular admission as an undergraduate student.
  4. Enrolled undergraduates may declare their major upon satisfaction of departmental requirements for prerequisite coursework and grade point average. These requirements vary by academic department, are subject to change, and are posted in the University Catalog/Information Bulletin. Regularly admitted and enrolled students may undertake coursework at UTSA to qualify for admission to the major.
  5. Degree requirements can be found in the UTSA Catalog and Information Bulletin which may be accessed via the Internet at http://www.utsa.edu/ucat/chapter1/index.cfm
